Villa Chapel Re-Use Report

After 6.5 years of preservation efforts, three re-use plans for the Villa Chapel were unveiled Sunday, November 6th at the Watson-Curtze Museum. View Channel 4’s coverage of the event.

During the afternoon presentation Preservation PA / National Trust representative Erin Hammerstedt spoke about the larger context of re-use efforts.  Erie architect Jeff Kidder drew up the final drawings and delivered a presentation based on the ideas generated at the September charrette which included 20 community volunteers who worked under the guidance of four architects:
