Historical Ghosts Walks of Downtown Waterford

After dropping dead at the sound of July 4th cannon fire, Old Frank, a horse and veteran of the Civil War, was buried with full military honors in the ball park. Does Old Frank still walk the streets of downtown? Is the clip clop of his hooves heard even today? There’s only one way to find out – join the Fort LeBoeuf Historical Society for a ghost walk of downtown Waterford.

Every Saturday and Sunday in October, beginning at 6 pm, the Fort LeBouef Historical Society will offer Historical Ghost Walks of Waterford. Tours begin at 6pm and depart hourly from the Judson House at 1st and High Streets. Cost for tickets is $5 for adults, children 12 years to 2 are $3, and children under 2 are free. To make a reservation, or if you have any questions, please call Judy Nelson at (814) 796-4817.
