Fort LeBoeuf Historical Society’s Colonial Christmas Offers Yuletide Traditions & House Tours

Colonial Christmas, a holiday tradition presented by the Fort LeBoeuf Historical Society, opens Friday, December 4th at 6 pm with the lighting of the community tree and caroling in Gazebo Park. And the celebration continues through Sunday, December 6th!

In keeping with this year’s theme, “Yuletide Traditions,” the Eagle Hotel will feature decorations, food and music from many different cultures. The German Cultural Society of Erie will share German holiday traditions through decorations, singing and music. The Wiwaty Dancers of Erie County will display their cultural decorations and music and offer tastings of traditional foods. And the Irish Cultural Society of Erie County will be there, too!

Your ticket ($5 per adult, $3 per child) includes access to the 3rd floor of the Eagle Hotel to view Christmas Trees and vote for your favorite, as well as admission to Owens Hall to view model trains and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The Judson House will be decorated in early American traditions by The Waterford Garden Club. The house will include fashions thru the ages and music from the era, as well as re-enactors from the French & Indian War period.
