Erie County Historical Society seeks summertime volunteers

Are you interested in history? Antiques? Beautiful interiors?

Do you like to talk to people?

Are you looking for something meaningful to get involved in?

If you said “Yes!” to any of these questions, please consider volunteering at the Erie County Historical Society. The Society has a variety of opportunities available to volunteers. The museum educator, Jeff Sherry, will provide all of the training needed to help volunteers develop their skills as docents in the historic Watson-Curtze Mansion. Not mobile? Consider becoming a front desk operator in the museum gift shop.

Volunteers work alongside professional museum staff to make history come to life for visitors. Please contact Jeff Sherry at jsherry@eriehistory.org or (814) 454-1813 ext.33 for more information about upcoming training sessions.
