The Erie County Historical Society has a position open for a full-time Local History Educator who will be responsible for the development, implementation and leadership of programs designed to share Erie County history with children and adults, residents and visitors. The initial focus for the position will be on the development and implementation of K-12 programming for Erie County schools; however, once these are established and successful, the Educator will be challenged to develop and seek funding for on-site and outreach programs for the Society’s diverse audience. The position will report directly to the Executive Director.
