Join the folks of the Hazel Kibler Museum July 23rd for an evening of history and local legends as they tour beautiful Girard Cemetery at dusk. This month their candlelight walk focuses on the Civil War era in Girard, including a spotlight on the life and times of circus mogul Dan Rice.
The tour begins at 8:00pm at Hazel Kibler Museum, 522 East Main Street, Girard. Following the walk, return to the museum to sample period foods and listen to local ghost stories around the campfire. Artist and photographer Zach Wincik will be on hand to discuss his exhibit of restored historic photographs, and prints of the Girard Legends Series will be available for sale.
Cost: $6 for adults, $4 for children under 12, $5 for seniors
