Out of the Box is an exciting series of traveling resource trunks created for teachers, youth group leaders, libraries, and others looking for unique and educational ways to share the rich heritage of Erie County, PA with others. Many of the trunks have been created by local historical societies and museums. Join us for the presentation of resource trunks by Corry Area Historical Society, Hornby School Museum, Harborcreek Historical Society, Elk Creek Township Historical Society, Erie Society for Genealogical Research, Fairview Area Historical Society, and others, as well as two special presentations by educators who have developed curriculum which integrates local and regional history.
