Edinboro Maple Syrup Festival

The Edinboro Area Historical Society’s 3rd Annual Edinboro Maple Festival, which is held in conjunction with the NW PA Maple Association’s Taste and Tour, is the weekend of March 23rd – 25th.

The festival begins with a free performance by the Gem City Concert Band Friday night at 7:30 pm at Cole Auditorium, Edinboro University.  This kick-off event is free and open to the public. Lake Erie Sound, a men’s a cappella chorus, performs at Cole Auditorium at 7:30 pm Saturday night. Tickets are $5 per person for the Saturday evening concert.

The YMCA’s 2-mile Pancake Run, a family fun walk/run event, is Saturday morning. Registration starts at 9:00 am at the borough building directly across the street from the fire department.

The Edinboro Area Historical Society’s pancake dinner runs from 9:00 am  to 3:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday at the Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department’s social hall located at 125 Meadville Street in the heart of downtown Edinboro.  In addition to enjoying a fabulous meal – pancakes, farm fresh sausage and local maple syrup – you’ll see arts, crafts and local food vendors, as well as regional bands and musicians playing all day.

While you’re in Edinboro don’t forget to tour the local maple camps and sugar houses. Join us as we celebrate the arrival of spring and the maple season!
